Our Story
Born from the shared journey and common vision of Kostis and Christina..
Kokkina Botanika experience is the initiative of a young couple who grew up in Athens and consciously chose to return to Naxos in search of a better quality of life, closer to nature and human connection. Their relationship and shared path began here on the island and gradually evolved into a creative collaboration that brings together the land and hospitality.
Kostis is involved in holistic land management and sustainable agricultural design, with a strong focus on respect for the natural environment and traditional practices. Christina works in the tourism sector, with experience in property management and authentic experiences. The combination of their backgrounds creates a harmonious result, where one meaningfully complements the other.
The garden that hosts Kokkina Botanika has belonged to Christina’s family for five generations. In the past, it served as the family’s main home and primary source of livelihood through farming. Today, this land continues to live and evolve, transforming its history into a contemporary experience of connection, knowledge, and sustainable living.

Our Philosophy
At Kokkina Botanika, our philosophy is rooted in a deep connection between humans and nature. Our purpose is to reconnect people with nature through knowledge and direct contact. We believe that nature is not something to simply observe, but something to experience with all our senses.
We operate with respect for the natural environment and follow the principles of sustainability and slow living, allowing space for time, observation, and simplicity. Our experiences are authentic, small-scale, and deeply connected to the land, local knowledge, and the traditions of Naxos.
We place special emphasis on responsible resource management. All organic waste produced during our activities is composted and returned to the soil as natural fertiliser, closing the natural cycle and strengthening soil health. In this way, nothing is wasted, and everything is transformed. For us, true luxury lies in simplicity, knowledge, and conscious connection with nature.
